RPSC APO Recruitment 2026 Notification

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has opened applications for the position of Assistant Prosecution Officer (APO). Eligibility Criteria and Age Limit

  • Education: You must have a professional law degree (LLB) or an integrated law degree from a recognized institution.
  • Language & Culture: Working knowledge of Hindi written in the Devnagari script along with familiarity with Rajasthani customs and dialects is essential.
  • Age Limit: Candidates must be between 21 and 40 years of age as of January 1, 2027.
  • Age Relaxation: Relaxation in upper age limits applies for reserved categories (SC, ST, OBC, MBC, EWS, and women) according to government guidelines.

Exam Pattern & Selection Process

The recruitment process will consist of a Preliminary Examination followed by a Main Written Examination. The Preliminary exam acts as a screening test and will feature objective-type questions. The Main exam contains descriptive papers: Paper I (Law) for 300 marks with a duration of 3 hours, and Paper II (Language - Hindi & English) for 100 marks with a duration of 2 hours. Candidates must score a minimum of 40% marks in each paper to qualify.
